A curved blade saws faster than a straight blade and bites more aggressively into the wood. With a curved blade you can still saw on top of the branch while working above shoulder height and below the knees, without any extra effort. The Super Accel Curve is provided with Silky's new Gokai-Me teeth, which are specially designed for an optimal discharge of saw dust and to make both rip-cuts, cross-cuts and slant-cuts.
The Super Accel Curve also features a rubber grip with a rigid aluminum chassis, for extra sawing comfort without increasing the weight of the saw. A small notch has been made in the blade so that you can easily open the saw.
The Super Accel is available in two different teeth: large (7.5 or 8 teeth per 30 mm) and fine (14 teeth per 30 mm).
The large teeth are suitable for pruning fresh wood. The fine teeth are suitable for pruning hard wood, but also ideal for woodworking.
The blades are interchangeable, so you can have one saw for various purposes. You can easily loosen the pivot screw without the use of tools.
The blade must be kept clean to maintain its efficiency. Resin dissolves in olive oil, which is an effective and environmental friendly way to maintain the blade with. More aggressive liquids can damage the rubber material of the handle.
When not using the saw, make sure it is dry at all times. Store the saw in a dry place, preferably in an appropriate holster.
