Chopping is often faster than sawing or cutting. The NATA is a cross between a knife and an axe. It is forged in SKS-51 (JIS) steel and the special Genki rubber grip absorbs the shock very well: the vibrations are hardly transmitted to the hand or arm.
The NATA has been conceived in two versions:
-single ground (sharpened on one side only), for chopping off small branches, debarking trees and layering hedges
-double ground (sharpened on both sides), for splitting wood.
